I am the level designer in an upcoming 2D platform game, that my team and I came up with and developed for our Game Enterprise module. We initially started the development on MonoGame and moved to Unity to expand, diversify and improve the project even more. Subsequently, we were one of the two teams, chosen by the University to continue our work during the summer and the game at this point is in its final stage of development.
Ever since I've started my journey as a Game Development student, this project has been the biggest for me so far and it made me gain valuable experience about working in a team to produce a final, ready for deployment product. From innitial planning phases to deep diving into creating 13 different levels for our game, the whole process has been quite interesting, very challenging at times and in the end the most rewarding seeing hours of work and brainstorming, as well as finding solutions to impossible problems as a team, turn into what Phantom Projects is now.
The Game Enterprise module has thought me alot about all aspects of development - Innitial concept and what it takes to make a game a success, Business, Testing, Legal requirements and many other things that continue to help me and guide me throughout my second year.

PLATFORMGE
Platformge is a solo project, developed using Unity and C#.
The prototype features 3 levels, different enemies and traps and an interactive environment.
During the summer of 2022, I have taken part of a course on programming with Unity and C#, provided by the university. During the week long course, I have learnt the basics of developing with Unity and have put the aquired knowledge into making small prototypes of different genres of games. We've discussed games like Bouncy Box, Platform games, 2D Dungeon crawler, 3D Shooter and RPG basics lessons. The course provided me with valuable skills and knowledge that I could put into use in the 2D platformer game I have made as a result of.

Platformge is a 2D platform game about a Frog Ninja and its' adventures. For now the game is a small prototype, consisting of 3 different levels. The player has to collect all of the apples in the level by avoiding dangerous enemies or strategically placed traps.
Shown bellow is the first level of the game, where the player has the chance to get familiar with the environment and the obstacles in their path.

The second level introduces enemy units and interactive objects that can aid the player to continue exploring further.

The third level and final level introduces ranged enemies that shoot, when the player is within a certain distance.

I've had alot of fun during that amazing week, full of insights about game developing and I will be forever grateful for the amazing opportunity!
